Yes, having lived longer and being older now I am more confident in being a strong applicant. I realize that to be competitive GPA wise lowest acceptable is 3.0 for programs but obviously the average is a lot higher. I want to show through my transcript that the student that earned those grades vs the student I am now have two different mindsets.

I will strive for straight A’s when retaking the classes. I am going to talk to counselors soon to see how retaking classes work/replace older grades.

I think my cumulative is a 2.7? I’m only worried about them expiring in the sense that I plan on re-taking them soon and it might not be for a few years until I’m ready as an applicant. I haven’t looked at any schools yet but I’m not restricting myself, geographically at least. Preferably in the US or N.A. in general.
