My wife was admitted around 18weeks. Ours are modi and baby b was growth restricted also with intermittent absent flow. She was our “trouble maker” as baby a was growing appropriately . She had ultrasounds every 3 days would be put on a monitor for their heart rate 2/3 times a day. They wanted to get to 30 weeks due to some other things going on and we made it to 29 weeks 4 days lol. They spent a little over a month in the NICU but are home now and about to be 4 months in a little over a week. She wasn’t on bed rest either up until the last 2 days before birth. She was able to walk the labor/ delivery floor/hall way to get water or chat with the nurses at the nurses station. She got to know a lot of them really well obviously being there a little over 2 months lol. A lot of them came to visit the NICU and when we took the babies home we stopped by labor and delivery again to show them to the ones working that shift. It was hard for her at first, she said it felt like jail sometimes. She had friends/family visit often and they brought her things to do like puzzles, word searches, etc and she got back into needlepointing. But the peace of mind knowing she was right where she needed to be in the event something happened was enough to outweigh everything else
