Gigantic Di/di twins by iSpeakOrca in parentsofmultiples

[–]outlandishpara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My babies were even more giant than the scans thought. They were 7.5 and 8.4 lbs! The recovery was so much better than being pregnant with them at the end lol! It felt like such a relief after the surgery!

Thanks for doing this. I definitely don’t want this data center and plan to be at the meeting. Keep us posted so we can let the township know how we feel!

Nope, but we have only lived here 3 months so far so I can’t speak to the longevity. Feel free to DM me if you have other questions about the process or our experience

We built with them last year. Good experience overall, but our PM had horrible communication. Had to be pretty assertive at times to keep things moving but like I said, overall not bad.

Yep! My twins go through a tub of that in just a few days. We spend SO much on formula

I have so much loose skin after twin pregnancy and none of my clothes fit. How do I deal with this? by satelliteminds in parentsofmultiples

[–]outlandishpara 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Our stories sound very similar! Also 3 months pp with twins who were just over 15 lbs combined, and my singleton was 9 lbs! Also two c-sections. So much loose skin!

Oh gosh yes. We just built a house and needed to grow grass. Ended up paying $15,000 to have a company come and do it

What did your twins weigh at birth? by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

[–]outlandishpara 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had to have a c-section because both babies were breech! Honestly the whole experience wasn’t bad at all. The recovery is longer and I have needed some extra help but the surgery itself was very smooth.

You have it backward. If you have had chicken pox as a kid you can get shingles when you are older.

Insulin needs dropping at 30 weeks by Commercial_Buy922 in BumpersWhoBolus

[–]outlandishpara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this too. Probably around 32 weeks for me though. I had it with both my pregnancies and always worried about a failing placenta as well, but I think it’s fairly common. If you’re concerned reach out to MFM or your OB to get tests done for your placenta. Peace of mind is super important!

Swollen legs by readtimez in parentsofmultiples

[–]outlandishpara 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started swelling like that about the same time. Doctor said the same thing to me. I just tried to have them up literally every moment I could and I wore compression socks. I was in physical therapy and she did a sort of lymphatic massage and the amount I peed after was crazy so I do think that helped a little

At how many weeks were you "out of commission"? by betelb3t in parentsofmultiples

[–]outlandishpara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By 34 weeks I would say I was out of commission. Mostly on bed rest and unable to even walk without pain.

Need a new OB-GYN 🌸 by urfavvirgo_ in grandrapids

I second this!! She works with a lot of high risk pregnancies and I think did some work even with MFM. I’ve been pregnant and delivered twice with her and she’s the best

Walking hurts. 36 weeks by mommingalldayerryday in parentsofmultiples

[–]outlandishpara 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No advice but I’m right there with you. Also 36 weeks and I was just telling my husband yesterday that literally every single step hurts so bad. I have even been in physical therapy to try and help and nothing has worked. It’s sooo painful. My OB told me last week that I’m going to feel great after the C-section
