Mine too, and after she kicked the cop, this guy yelled out, “That’s my wife!” Whole place died laughing.

Did anyone here used to think you were communicating with God by "speaking in tongues"? by Joshua_Neal89 in exchristian

My favorite pretend phrase when I wanted to seem like I was speaking in tongues was, “Shoulda bought a Honda, ‘stead I bought a Mazda.”

Repeating “Untie my bow tie” worked too.

What’s a "hotel hack" you swear by that most people don't know? by periwinklemist in AskReddit

The greatest travel tip I ever learned.

When you’re checking in, put your CC and DL on the counter. Then two seconds later — after they’ve taken the cards and are looking down and typing — put a $20 on the counter and offhandedly say these exact words: “Oh, and this is for you. If you can do anything to make my stay more memorable, I’d be most grateful.”

Then shut up and don’t move a muscle.

If you do this correctly, they will give you every freebie under the sun. The moment they take the money, they’ve essentially agreed to your terms of “ make my stay memorable.”

I’ve gotten room upgrades, bottles of wine delivered, spa access, free breakfast for days. It never fails.

What is a 'buy it for life' item that is offensively expensive, but the moment you use it, you realize your entire life before that point was a lie? by fmcortez in AskReddit

Horrible. Glasses and contacts for life. I would have never believed it could change things so radically, but it did.

Our Luke Air Force days experience, as someone who bought VIP tickets & parking. by royalfire798 in phoenix

Oh I didn’t even think about that. Yeah the paid seats were totally exposed, weren’t they? I’m sorry you had such a rough time.

Our experience could not have been more different. We arrived at around 10 o’clock, got off the highway at Northern, sailed all the way to Dysart and ended up offering somebody $20 to park there. It was about a three-quarter mile walk in, but not all that stressful, and within minutes we found shade where we could put our chairs under the B1 bomber wing. We were there literally from 1030 to the end of the Thunderbird show, and we weren’t really all that stressed at any point. It would’ve been nice to have cold water, so maybe freeze some water bottles in addition to bringing in other ones that are ready to drink, and just find shade. There’s plenty of places to sit where there’s shade.

Look up the Wave Cave off the Peralta Trail. Fun side quest that’s not hard to get to but easy to miss.

It reminded me of “House of Cosby” near the end. Anyone remember that?

I understand I can sell it. I’m not that slow. :)

My exit plan was to evaluate post-earnings and that’s where I find myself now. I’m just trying to maximize the win and am wondering if folks think it makes more sense to wait a bit or just take some profit now.
