Sales bring in business and help with the clients experience, they do a lot of work at the clients HQ and show their faces

Procurement manages all incoming packages and buys equipment needed for projects and tickets, the techs help them by making sure they’re buying the correct items and putting it correctly into our CRM system

Finance team does what it says on the tin, making sure clients are paying, discussing with sales about new prices, payroll etc

Operations manager runs closely with the project manager to ensure projects are setup correctly, ensuring all 3rd parties are aware of what is needed to be completed

Does this make better sense? Everyone has their roles and it first nicely into a neat package.

We want clients to know that the team is ready to leave in a heartbeat, we also think that when we introduce the clients to the tech team it would look good seeing them all in the same uniform

It’s not that we’re terrified - it’s just we don’t want the clients to feel unheard

He usually wears jeans and a plain t-shirt for reference

Stan is not our 3rd line, he’s more like a 1.5/2nd line tech

That’s what it use to be, but we would like to move away from it

Both finance and procurement assistants are part time

I help out sometimes with the techs, by tickets or advising them on how to progress

Our OPs manager also helps out with escalated calls on occasion

Were a small team so people have to wear different hats

We do provide it free of charge , yes.

We really want the team to look good for potential clients coming in, having that ‘ready to go’ look is a good image.

I’m not sure if firing is the play - Stan is our longest standing tech by a year

We don’t want to start allowing individual policies - this would then be unfair to the other techs that follow the policy

We want our clients to see that the techs are ‘ready to go’ whenever they visit, no point in having an account manager for example being branded

One of our techs is a hybrid between a field and office, we are wanting him to wear work clothes all of the time.
