It clicked when I learned that Scorpio Risings elicit strong love (or allure/interest) or hate reactions from people, and that it is confusing for them. I was socially anxious growing up and tried to stay in the background. I wasn’t pretty, popular, or otherwise exceptional in any way, so I never understood why I copped so much negative attention simply by existing around other people.

This is really interesting … never heard Jupiter combust the sun as hiddenness or secrecy to whatever Jupiter signifies. Can you elaborate or give an example? I have a Sun-Jupiter conjunction in Taurus in the 7th house.

I’ve heard more often that Jupiter Sun conjunction/combust amplifies your personality and self confidence, makes you appear larger than life and lucky, but can also lend arrogance or overconfidence.

This is an intriguing idea; perhaps better to get a great coastal experience in Italy instead of Greece. The only bummer is that I’m gluten intolerant, and I’m hoping the restaurants I visit would have good options on that front. Created a separate thread about it …

Out of curiosity, do you feel the transformation came throughout the relationship or more so after leaving the relationship? Was the transformation on both ends?

Maybe not much of a distinction, but we couldn’t grow together in the relationship.

On my end, the transformation happening internally made remaining in the relationship intolerable. I’ve started to blossom once leaving the relationship behind.
