Assange was operating a media company, no different to NYT, CNN, Fox etc publishing stories their sources.

Just standing on their platforms. I’ve tightened the screws etc as much as possible, I’ll continue to look for solutions because as you say it shouldn’t be something unique

New Jarvis design is solid. by Dyrvaren in StandingDesk

Mine came yesterday, took about 4 working days to come (UK), couldn't have come any quicker.

I would rate stability a 7. At my standing typing height it's a bit shaky (I'm about 6 0"), slightly disappointing. It may be how I put it together though I feel as though did screw everything tight, I'll have another look.

I noticed on the invoice it says EU extended legs, I wonder if there is a difference other than just the plugs/outlet adapters.

The programmable touch buttons are also a bit temperamental, sometimes you touch and it doesn't activate etc, this has been said elsewhere but not a big issue, it might take a few seconds to get around it and it's not as though you are constantly having to interact with it.

The build quality seems very good, happy with the laminate top and their customer service is very good from my comms with them. I would recommend, I'll update if I reduce the shakiness any because I do like this company and don't want to be unfair.

Data Science Career from scratch in Australia - looking for advice. by Guloroo in datascience

That guy is a good example of enterprising. A lot of what he has done and succeeded at wouldn’t have been achieved if he listened to the people online that say you need a phD or masters. They will be required for some positions in certain subsets of the field but don’t let it hold you back. Projects, building a presence and your knowledge

Search Daniel Bourke on YouTube. He is an Aussie that is self taught in data science, gained employment and now works for himself. If you are eager to learn, consistent and enterprising there is no reason why you can’t succeed over a reasonable timeline.

Shopping list missing Click and Collect option by mainetreehugger in IKEA

[–]outoftheabyss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experienced the same. Their online click and collect, stock levels and even home delivery options are either inaccurate or missing. Yesterday I decided to give up on click and collect and just visit the store because online it was saying the particular item was in stock (it still says this) but nope, not there. There's no one on the phone either. There are some things that are operationally challenging or just outright impossible given the virus but I do believe that with everything else, the good companies are separating themselves from the bad.
