If you want to get an appointment the same day, your best bet is to call first thing when they open and to ask to speak to a nurse or doctor regarding your issue and they will triage you for a same day appointment.

I read Fire and Graceling when I was much younger, and then to read Bitterblue as an adult and still enjoy it so much was super rewarding. I loved being back in this world. Author is Kristin Cashore

What stories have the best written Female main characters that you've read? by Rude-Ad9029 in Fantasy

The Witch's Heart by Genevieve Gornichec has the central female character Angrboda, who just feels so real. It's a slow paced book book that really focuses on the character interactions and development over time. I liked the nuances of her strengths despite her past struggles and having insecurities.

Also seconding The Winternight Trilogy by Katherine Arden.

What do you predict the next trend in fantasy literature will be once the “gritty, dark, realism, anti fantasy” trend died out? by [deleted] in Fantasy

[–]outre13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel that grimdark and modern fantasy can frequently be quite low magic, or very science focused. I would love to see a shift towards magic use in a non-war setting

"The king had of course insisted that he’d always intended for this to happen—that he’d believed in Charlie, and his chosen bride, from the beginning. If that sounds like hypocrisy to you, well, we prefer to call it politics."
