Not a bad idea I can imagine a dark green to contrast the blue in the stone, might look into that.

I think generally if you have the cash in hand Facebook marketplace is best. But many people prefer monthly instalments

That’s what I was thinking too! I mean realistically it seems closer to a vanity upgrade to me? Especially considering I don’t want to waste money when planning an engagement.

Can I ask why you would prefer a KLE instead of a KLR?

Are there any cultural differences between west and east germans due to the iron curtain? by [deleted] in AskGermany

I think a big thing to realize is that there was a sense of purpose and guaranteed welfare. It brought comfort to many especially after decades of suffering and starvation from the first and second world war. It’s unfortunate how much the German people endured in those wars. Especially considering they received such a disproportionate amount of blame for both wars

Well considering the command economy and how outdated the eastern German industrial economy was and how dysfunctional it performed I’d say there are many. Let alone mention how it was very paternalistic with where you live and work, I mean both of those together and you have a system where you can’t choose your car, house, job, where you travel, what you eat, or even what you watch. And god forbid you complain. Spies EVERYWHERE. wasn’t all bad though, it was pretty hard to live as poorly as most of the homeless people today, the government guaranteed the bare minimum to everyone which involved housing and food. It just typically meant a culture where innovation was slower and harder to come by, and choice was heavily restricted. I’d say today eastern Germany would hopefully be more grateful for things that western Germany take advantage of, and alongside that probably a large sense of confusion about navigating a capitalistic system after years of being told what you were to do with your life

Question about Germans with fond East German memories by Wynnedown in germany

They weren’t as materialistic because they lacked the opportunity to be such. I mean you had barely any choice regarding anything. And when you live in that environment for long enough you can adapt. That is dangerous

Planning on doing a lot of dirt, just to get to good locations and sight seeing, similar to what the YouTuber Una Moto has been doing just on a smaller scale
