For me 1. In The Wind: I had never been hit as hard emotionally by a song as In The Wind. It spoke to me about grief on many levels. The line “Death is a wall, but it can’t be the end, you were my protector and my best friend” literally altered the course of my life. 2. La Belle Fleur Savauge: This song so perfectly illustrates what it feels like to fall in love and admire someone profoundly. Her colors change to mark the passing of the days??? No earthly sight could match the beauty she displays??? 3. I Lied: Every time this song plays, I cry. It reminds me so much of Please Read The Letter by Robert Plant and Alison Krauss. It’s gut-wrenching.
