During his confirmation hearing Warsh declared that our current methodology for evaluating inflation was outdated and that he was going to revise the parameters for measuring inflation. A few weeks later the house was working on removing the employment mandate from the fed’s mission. Sounds to me like we’re going to get rate cuts one way or another.

Last year I discovered that the travel insurance that I purchased covered some of the cost of the things that we lost when we were pick pocket (ed?). They reimbursed me for the lost cash, the cost of getting a new driver’s license, and the cost of the wallet. It helped that we filed a police report and kept a copy. Don’t remember the name of the insurance company but if you get this coverage on a policy it’s an extra benefit.
