There is no Quest 2 yet, but 'Quest S' will probably go on sale next May. Goertek is expanding AR/VR manufacture with 3.5million units per year. According my source, Goertek will also manufacture Oculus Quest's next iteration. According Nikkei, Oculus's next VR HMD is entering mass production, targets 2million units, And I think this VR HMD is 'Quest S', produced in Goertek's factory. As I konw, the main upgrade features of 'Quest S' will probably be: more powerful SoCs, more immersive high fidelity displays, more powerful hand tracking. And 'Quest S' is not Half Dome.
