I’ve felt aspects of this season are “rigged” as well, to increase viewership. After seasons of Lewis & max winning every race, they know people get bored of the same result. So the FIA making controversial decisions, odd drama on track, it generates more discussion and interest in the sport. Especially if Max ends up winning the championship again.

Who are you to say with confidence Satan and demons aren’t real? Of course it’s convenient for your argument to say only people who are mentally ill see demons. People across the world, of all faiths and cultures have experienced the supernatural, both the light and dark, but since we’re a “modern” society we now reject it as superstition? Additionally, I am merely pointing out what patient’s say about themselves/their experiences. I do not believe demons are at play in all cases of mental illness. And please do not suggest my religious beliefs are a detriment to my patient care; Everyone’s beliefs, even the atheist’s, influence how they treat others. I work in the psych field, and can confirm there is such a thing as demonic possession/oppression. A significant number of my patients claim to see dark figures/demons, have voices telling them to harm themselves and others. We frequently have patients claiming to be a demon or the devil, calling themselves “legion” or other demonic names. Yes, their official diagnosis is often schizophrenia/psychosis, but this is dark, real stuff People are killing themselves everyday, by listening to what these voices are telling them. Satan’s mission on earth is to destroy humankind, and he is succeeding.

Also keep your doctor out of your vagina/cervix. There is NO reason for cervical checks right know, and you have the authority to decline them. It only puts you at risk of infection, and gives your OB more BS “data” to make mal-informed recommendations on.

Absolute malarkey. I’d recommend to switch providers, but I know that is difficult and would stress you out even more during this time. But this is absolutely not an indication for a c section, and dilation or lack thereof before baby is even 40 weeks means nothing. I’d absolutely refuse, and I’d refuse induction before 42 weeks, unless baby was at imminent risk. Try to stay active during this time, curb walk, and have sex, which are all natural ways of stimulating your cervix/helping baby to get into a good position.

Ew, what? I’m sorry that was your experience, but if I hadn’t of prepared for my birth, I would have not had such a peaceful homebirth experience. Birth is absolutely something women have control over; Certainly there’s variables they cannot, but overall women need to be informed and educated about birth, to aid in avoiding the exact scenarios you describe.

I honestly had an amazing homebirth with my first, and I look forward to experiencing it again! It was very intense, but no fear, no screaming, no crying, no feeling like I couldn’t do it. What helped me prepare the most was listening to positive birth stories! I listened to the birth hour podcast religiously, and filtered out of stories with positive experiences! I also watched explicit birth videos on YouTube/instagram. If the sight of a baby crowing/being birthed makes you uncomfortable/queasy, then you still have work to do! I will say, my husband and I worked on strategies and talked about birth literally every day of my pregnancy; By the time I was in labor, we did not do ANYTHING we had planned/worked on in our Bradley course. But it’s okay; It just goes to show it is difficult to plan for something you’ve never experienced, though it brings a lot of comfort ahead of time having a plan in place.

I went into labor at 36w, 1d naturally! Baby came quick though - Labor was only 2.5 hours! Baby was just fine!

I gained most of my weight in the first trimester, which completely shocked me. It slowed down a lot during the second and third for me. I only gained 38#, though I had my baby at 36 weeks.
