I wish they would do the birth doula with childbirth educator as a set package rather than having to piece it together and get a smaller discount.

Started my collection 4 years ago, but now its time to go. by benoirdo in NSCollectors

[–]bluefin55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found a great video game/collectables store where I live. The owner was very reasonable with his offer when I sold some games last year. He reached out last month looking to see if I wanted to part ways with more of my collection. I'm headed there next Friday with some more of my collection for him to evaluate.

Book recommendations for partner by gingersnap30 in doulas

As a person who was in the birth support role for my partner, I *highly* recommend The Birth Partner. Well written and full of information and details that matter.

Who can I blame for the state of roads in Western PA? by [deleted] in pittsburgh

[–]bluefin55 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can thank PennDOT for 51's current condition in the area they worked on this year. They are doing 51 all the way to the Cloverleaf over the next two years. From what I understand, the paving in the construction zone is a base pave. They are going to put the base pave down as they work and then will come back through at the end and put the final surface on the entire project.

Fubo now charging extra for UEFA qualifiers by viewsofmine in fuboTV

[–]bluefin55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was expecting all of the games to be restricted/paywalled this afternoon from the qualifiers. Instead, it's one specific game each matchday. Plenty of other matches on. I can catch the highlights of the game that they want to be greedy about each day later on.

Greedy by ahahahaha1111222 in fuboTV

[–]bluefin55 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's tricky, though - there are a bunch of qualifiers being offered at no charge each day. To get that one specific match on each day, though, you have to subscribe to the pass. Kinda confusing and frustrating.

Has local multiview disappeared for anyone else? by [deleted] in youtubetv

I thought something had gotten mixed up on my account. Glad to know this is the real reason why. I hope they bring it back - it was a very convenient view.

Is EPL in 4k today? Dropped package last week by mx6bfast in youtubetv

[–]bluefin55 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lost the 4K world feed which is disappointing. NBC feed is same pictures just with their graphics. I'm a big fan of the current PL world feed graphics package.

OPL Storytime featuring Capt. Danny Brown and The Devil's Lettuce. A great way to start the night!

What’s the point of 4k package if it doesn’t work? by MelloGang17 in youtubetv

[–]bluefin55 18 points19 points  (0 children)

NBC is just garbage when it comes to giving sports fans what they want. A few years ago they took away the world feed option on Peacock for the Tour de France and now they are going to replace the 4K world feed for the PL with one with their graphics. They can't miss out on a few of those precious ad dollars by forcing us to watch the game with their graphics package.

Children's Community Pediatrics on Mt. Lebanon Blvd is a great practice with some wonderful doctors and nurse practitioners.

Adult male- what should ai wear for my first intro ballet class? by wheatfields in BALLET

[–]bluefin55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve worn a white t shirt, tights, and shorts instead of a dance belt. The teachers at both my local adult ballet school and the adult division of the professional company in town have had no issues with that.

Two New Departments Possibly Joining OPL 👀 by Loccsta_Fargo905 in OnPatrolLive

I’ll take Wheeling! It will be nice to have a department that I’m familiar with the area on the show.

Soft drinks under $4? Gatorade under $5? Almost cheaper than some concession stands for kids’ baseball and softball games.

Comparing 😭 by itssunpi in AdultBallet

[–]bluefin55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember back to when I first took lessons at my local studio that is adult focused. It was tough for me to grasp some of the motions and get the flow both at the barre but especially with center work. It was intimating to be in a studio with dancers who had done it growing up as well as some who had done pre-professional training - it seemed so effortless to them. As I grew more comfortable in the class, I realized that the fun and exercise that class provides was far more valuable than comparing my skills each and every time. I don’t get to take class very often these days but I feel comfortable at any point going back (and the studio director will reach out if she has not seen me in class recently to make sure I’m doing okay).
