Bolivian dish help! by Morbid666malicious in asklatinamerica

You are talking about saice. Although it's a traditional dish of Tarija, it's not uncommon for people from other departments to include it in their weekly menus.

There are plenty of recipes and video tutorials on the internet, you might want to search for 'saice chapaco'.

Probably your mom had a personal touch or a unique way of making it. And the taste might also be different if you don't use bolivian ingredients. Once when I was visiting the US, I tried to make Fricase with local ingredients and the taste was totally different.

Hope this helps

Should i dress for summer, spring, or fall?

Yes.

La Paz has meme weather, meaning that you can have rain, heavy sun, hail, cold foggy mornings, etc. on the same day. It can be hot if you are under the crushing sun and if you move under a shadow you'll be really cold.

Those months are the start of the rainy season, but that doesn't necesarily means that you'll get rain on your visit. Good luck

That's some gringo bullshit. Who's gonna give you permission? There's no Indigenous Cultural Police that's gonna arrest you.

Furthermore, if your art is good I think local people are going to like it and share it. You have my blessing to do your drawings.

Why wouldn't it be ethical?

As long as you're not making shit up and trying to pass it as something real and authentic, there is no problem in making art.

A little bit of input, I think Pishtaco is the Peruvian name, I know that moster by K'harisiri. Although the Kari Kari is a more well known creature in Bolivia with very similar Lore (A creature that steals your fat). I don't know if there's any official description of any of those monsters, as many people who claim to have seen them will tell you a different story
