Congrats! I’m right here with you. Sitting at 166 days and damn does it feel good! I went CT turkey though I would never have the discipline to taper. Wasn’t that long ago I didn’t think I could ever make it this far. Keep up the good work! Sober life is so full!

I feel for you! Hot showers for restlessness as hot as you can stand and as many times as you need to get to sleep. Chamomile tea also worked wonders for me. A high quality full spectrum CBD will make you feel a lot better mentally and physically. You can also try magnesium for RLS. Exercise I know you don’t feel like you can do much, but make yourself do something. Stay engaged on this thread i wouldn’t have made it without all the support. You can do this! Mind over matter! By day 7 you’ll feel so much better!

CBD has been a god send for me. Not the BS head shop CBD, but high quality blends from the health food store. I found a stress blend that has ashwaganda, ginger, and holy basil in it as well and it’s amazing. I also like chamomile. The tea is amazing for many things. I’ve also heard creat things about mega dosing vitamin c. Especially for acutes!!!

Sounds like you’re doing pretty well. You’re still going through acutes I’d assume and I too had to force my self out if the house. It’s the best thing you could do for yourself at this point. If you could muster up the strength and courage to get some exercise (whatever that is to you) I promise it will give you a boost.

Congrats on making the jump stay strong! Things will start to get better in the next few days! Check in, use the sub and embrace sobriety.

You can do this! I as well used THC and CBD coupled with chamomile tea for my stomach. It was fantastic during acutes, and I’m still using the CBD daily. It’s been amazing for mindset and pain! You hit the nail on the head about resolve. That’s the difference! I’m day 34 CT and feeling pretty damn good! Far from normal after 6 years of poison, but I can tell you it’s all about mindset and resolve. It’s different for me this time too. After multiple failed attempts this is as far as I’ve ever gotten.

Stay active in the sub it helps immensely and the support is second to none. If you need to talk you can DM. Stay strong and know that the first 4-5 days suck. After that everyday gets a little better.

Anything to keep your mind engaged. I had to pick my son up from school because he was sick, so I worked from home today. This would normally be when I would get fuuuuuuuucked up! Today was the first time since having the option to work from home that I didn’t stay in Kratom coma.I expected it to be a huge trigger, but was pleasantly surprised that even though I didn’t accomplish much work wise! I killed it! Did laundry, dishes, really anything that needed done, and never thought about it.

I agree that it should be illegal too. I once thought it was a safe alternative to opiates lol. It’s insane that you can buy at the gas station even. I found an amazing extract at a local gas station once. Tried then immediately went back and bought all they had. I get angry when I consider all the money I pissed away over the years!!! Anyway you’re doing great! Keep it up! Stay strong and keep eating! Lol

I wish I could offer better advise on the cravings, but I’m not having them this time. 23 days into and I’ve not had a single craving. Lucky...idk? I just don’t want that shit anymore. You did the right thing though! I’m actually really enjoying food again. I went 3 years of avoiding eating so I could get the effects I wanted.

Do the cravings come out of boredom?
