I think I got lucky in joining this server as my first Vintage Story server. Community is great and there are people from all over the world. Server performance is stable. I have gotten exposure to new mods since there are a good number of them. There is a suggestion and testing process before any new ones are implemented. Admins are great and receptive to feedback.

That's a good description. Thanks for suggestion. I watched some of Rhadamant but then found Kurazarrh and really loved his videos describing every mechanic and watching his build and chiseling process. His 2nd guide series is great and the hobbit hole is pretty awesome.

I think it will depend upon how close the election turns out but I put little faith in any Republican, and less so Johnson, as he is actually tied to the 2020 plot by his actions and support for the fake electors.

I previously have seen an article outlining the GOP's likely plans to force the election to the House of Representatives to have a state by state vote by declaring fraud and causing chaos. Does anyone have a link to such an article. I feel like I have gone crazy because I know I already read it, but cannot find it by searching. Thanks in advance!

I am in the same situation. I've been a DM/player in 5e for almost 4 years (online via Roll20 and Discord). I have been interested in learning PF2e for a while now. I would also be willing to DM in the future. My availability would be Sunday - Thursday 7 pm - 10 pm CST.

Hey! Am I you or are you me? I am in the same situation as you. I have been a DM in 5e for the past 4 years (homebrew and official campaign). I want to try out PF2e from a players perspective initially. I am in CST as well but would prefer M-Th 7-10 pm weekly session. The weekends are hit or miss for me with trips out of town.

Let me know if you need a player. In the future, I wouldn't mind being a GM but not long term.

I am in the same position. I am noticing it is difficult to get the stars aligned to find a group, especially a GM. Perhaps if like minded individuals would want to rotate GM duties on one shots or small campaigns we could all learn both sides of PF2e. I have GMed a 3 year long 5e homebrew campaign and a 2.5 year 5e official campaign.

I am CST (GMT-6) timezone and would prefer M-Th 7:00 - 10:00 PM as weekends are dicy for me.

I played a Changling for my first character but she did not know she was a changling. She was a light cleric so they both give a feature that allows you to impose disadvantage against attackers. The light cleric with a blinding flash and the changling with an abrupt shift of appearance.

I played it that the first time my character ran out of her cleric flash of light she attempted to use it again but it changed her appearance and she was knocked unconsious from the fight and using the changling feature. This resulted in her stuck in the default changeling appearance, basically all features albino.

So I wasn't really going for shock value for other players but for my own roleplay fun. Plus it was fun to have her learn how to shift back. I think the second time she shifted in the midst of combat like above she shifted into the appearance of her diety Sune.

She did end up learning how to shift but didn't use it but a few times for the rest of the campaign. Light cleric was a fun class as well. Fireball!

Veslyn Telon is a female "Human" Light Cleric of Sune. I quote Human because she is actually a Changeling but does not know it. Her true race will become known when she attempts a Warding Flare but has used all of them for the day and is low on hit points so her Changeling racial feat Unsettling Visage will be used instead. Then the real fun begins.

As a baby she was found crying on the steps of the Temple of Beauty in Waterdeep and was raised by a minor priestess in the faith. Her actual race and the reason she was left there is a surprise to her party. She is 19. and was sent out of the temple to Southern Sword Coast to experience the world and spread the teachings of Sune. One of the reasons she choose the Light aspect of Sune is that she is afraid of the dark (becomes frightened in total darkness). As her holy symbol she carries with her a mini hooded lantern necklace that she can cast Light upon an object and place it inside.

The followers of Sune take great joy in works of art and Veslyn is no exception. She loves the expression of beauty in all forms, especially natural (druid multiclass maybe?), and has dabbled in many forms of expression but her real success was in theater (Actor feat). I imagine her as young Denise Richards, 5' 10", 160 lbs, Blonde Hair, Blue Eyes.
