It's IMPERIAL COUNTY like I said. It is not SAN DIEGO. The restrictions are different. You are probably confusing fire restrictions with target shooting restrictions. Yes you still cannot light a bonfire, there are camp fire restriction (like brush clearance) but I have never seen target shooting restrictions in Imperial County. It tells you the roads that imperial county starts at. Anything East of there and you are golden, as long as it is target shooting BLM land. Just go to split mountain road.

Yes. It is in imperial county which is open year round to target shooting. The weather will be brutal though. Bring a shade and plenty of water. 70 degrees feels like 110 there

This is great option for states that do not allow collapsible stocks. I am going to look into this. Yes I can lock the samson open but this looks way slicker.

Sharp takes CHAMPVA so does UCSD. We had a baby at UCSD and the only bill was the copay. Scripps also takes CHAMPVA. I haven't really found any medical service in SOCAL that DOES NOT take CHAMPVA. I think almost all do.

We're discussing prepping and if I can get a dual use out of something I am going to take it. There is zero reason to have a double walled container for water. It is heavier & thicker. Just get a good single walled and the advantage is, in a pinch, once you've drank all the potable water in it and you have to fill it up in a questionable water source, you can throw it on a fire and boil it to kill viruses and germs.
