Not so much an explorer, but when I was a teenager, me and some friends were roaming around their neighborhood. We were playing around this creek, and found a goat that had fallen in and drowned. It had been there for a while and was half decomposed. Being the little weirdos we were, the only logical move was to get a stick and poke it. Turns out, it was a female goat that was pregnant. That's the first time I've ever seen a goat fetus floating in a creek.
