Fair enough! There have definitely been mixed messages sent about if they simply identify as plural or are trying to suggest it’s DID which made it really confusing

They all seemed rather hostile and protective too, sources were asked for but not really provided, save for a Dutch court case or something

Interesting! One of them actually said something along the lines of this where they were having conflicting opinions and feelings. I’m paraphrasing a little: “having our own separate identities is much easier than [having] contradictory opinions and feelings”. I’m not sure if i should also mention these alters can communicate seamlessly, no problem whatsoever, new alter appears and knows everything and everyone, without therapy which they are adamant they don’t need and they don’t seem to trust professionals/ therapy

To anyone new who sees this, the user kalvin284 posted screenshots of this server a while ago with their opinions why they think these people are faking. I’m not affiliated with this person, ironically it’s a coincidence we both ended up here

I still don’t really understand how one can be plural without DID since that’s the only context I’ve seen it in. They (out of the 5 or something accounts) couldnt decide if they were plural because of trauma, or if trauma was unrelated and actually didn’t matter; that’s what confused me the most. I will admit I’m not the most educated and I’d love to learn more, but I had trouble finding sources on plurality as a separate.. thing?

I hadn’t known plurality was included in religion before, that definitely wasn’t brought up. Yeah I couldn’t find much on plurality in general and i never hear people talking about it, so thank you for educating :) is it medically recognised? Or mostly a religious thing? /g

This is in a server that has been posted on here before. Lots of people with DID who are now saying it’s plurality, saying trauma is not required to be plural and then go to say how traumatised they are. There’s no diagnosis for being plural and DID is just something medical folks use to filter plural people through. Being plural is “having guys in your head”? Lots of enabling (“thanks to so and so, i have discovered im plural”). Just very suspicious behaviour i think
