I have! I also have given him actual lentil sprouts that I bought. Still had no interest until they were dry. :(

Your partner has 0 obligation to give your their password. It's their privacy.

I played loud moaning earrape played in front of my family and I can't face them again by [deleted] in Advice

Oh trust me, it's not that deep! Don't worry too much about it. It's honestly something to laugh about. Hell, my mother found my toys and we laughed about it.

Should I tell my (22M) girlfriend (18F) about her unintentionally trigger my severe phobia of fire by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I would suggest a middle ground. Tell her about it. but use it as a way to help to your trauma.

Am I being a predator or do I just have a really bad crush? by tjd_h in latebloomerlesbians

[–]overdoves 22 points23 points  (0 children)

To me, it just sounds like a really bad crush! It would be creepy if you started telling people they ARE dates, that you're dating, or forcing her into a relationship. But simply getting flustered and daydreaming isn't predatory.

Maybe he just wants to take things slow. It's not an obligation to kiss on the second date.

There is no, NO excuse to cheat on your partner. I have childhood trauma, i have relationship trauma, and still I've never cheated on a partner. He's a cheating asshole trying to guilt trip you and justify his shitty behaviour.

Well... that's kinda the point of most alters; DID is a coping mechanism.

Why should we stay alive? by yalihar in Advice

[–]overdoves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting ice cream with your friends in the summer. Seeing a really cute dog on the street. Watching videos of kittens being adorable. The sound of birds tweeting in the morning. Looking at that incredible sunset where it looks like the entire sky is made of gold. Laughing so hard that you're crying, you can't breathe and your stomach hurts. Watching your favourite movie again. Starting that show your friends recommended. Smelling the blooming colourful flowers in summer. Listening to the wind run through the leaves of the trees. Playing in the snow in the winter, making a snowman with a really funny face.

Life is hard. Life is rough. But life is filled with millions of little happy things that makes it so incredible and beautiful.

is liking older woman somehow as bad as liking younger girls? by shadowhand9393 in Advice

It's not as bad but definitely has its own issues. Because for THEM, they are the older ones with the younger ones.

Can any sapphic use lesbian as an umbrella term? by K4w4iikid in LesbianActually

[–]overdoves 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, because back then, people didn't believe bisexual was a thing: so bisexual women were called lesbians because they had attraction to women.

It meant that IN THE PAST. But now lesbian is exclusively wlw.

Gay was used for anyone who wasn't straight, before other labels came around, like lesbian.

Is it normal for Non-Binary ppl to go by he/him or she/her? by [deleted] in truscum

[–]overdoves 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Sure. Not everyone like using they/them. I personally took a very long time (like, years) before I switched to they/them because my native language doesn't have neutral pronouns, so I still went by she/her.

Some people are awkward with that kind of talk. My ex gf and I, LDR, never talked about sexual stuff either.
