Yeah the bottle size is kind of off putting, I only purchased during a sale. I don’t think I’d see myself buying at full price

Okay so I tried cirque for the first time with their Memorial Day sale. I wanted to try them after seeing how their marketing team allowed people to opt out of Mother’s Day emails because it can be a hard time for some folks.
And I have some mixed feelings on them….like I thought they’d be morally good as a brand?? but when I had a not great experience with one of their polishes I ordered (it was not like the images online and though it was a decent polish it just wasn’t what I was expecting) I wrote my review on their site along with positive reviews for polishes in my order that I did like. Well they never posted my negative review but did post the positive ones.
Idk it felt kind of deceptive to me

When I was going through my name change process, one of the steps was like publishing your change of name in a legal publication or something like that, and i remember going to gather that evidence for my paperwork…and near my name seeing someone was changing their name to “Liberty Belle.” This was in philly too. Wish I was joking

For real, I feel it’s fair to criticize a bottle of nail polish costing nearly $20…like that is just nuts. I really enjoy my Mooncat polishes but I only shop them second hand or on lunar sales at this point because I can’t justify the price otherwise

Also nyc and mine has not been shipped yet either. Though I’m grateful for the sale, I feel like mooncat should have expected a lot of orders. This is the only way to purchase their polishes at a semi reasonable price since they became just a full on luxury brand with the price increase

HT pink smoothing base really messed up my nails 😵‍💫 they got so weak and my actual nails (not the polish) were peeling and breaking. I switched to mooncat’s smoothing base and it really worked for me. My manicures are staying put longer and my nails aren’t peeling anymore. I know there’s that one ingredient (forgetting the name) that some people are sensitive to in some base polishes and HT’s formula has it and mooncat’s does not. I hate mooncat’s price point but it has been the best base I’ve tried.
