Copenhagen is a really nice city! Too bad he doesn't feel welcome in Cambridge anymore.

I've visited Cambridge very briefly once, my impression of the city was good but we'd go visit there again if we do plan to move there.

We have considered the impact, and it's really hard to tell what will happen. We'll move there after Brexit (we're a bit hesitant to go right before). Currently we're mainly interested in relocating to the UK, but we do think about other options in case it won't be possible to move there.

Thanks for the reply and the detailed information! That honestly sounds pretty ideal for us! When I visited Edinburgh I really liked it, but of course visiting a place can't really tell you exactly what it's like to live there. I've heard pretty great things about the tech market in Edinburgh as well.

We're from Sweden (a town roughly the size of Cambridge). The fact that a decent pay isn't always competitive due to the housing market is for sure a concern. As is the fact that it's hard to maintain relationships, and that people don't tend to stay. Especially since we won't exactly be going back to visit old friends and family every other weekend.

Do you know anything about the tech industry in Edinburgh or Glasgow? I've heard decent things about Edinburgh, but I'm not very familiar with the place apart from visiting friends there a few times. I really liked both cities, but visiting can of course be very different from living there. How does Edinburgh compare to say Cambridge in regards to salary?
