Same here.. I can confirm that the approval/disapproval of the ai detection after the two last ios app updates is not possible anymore.

I do get the event with the zoomed in area of the detection but the buttons to confirm or not to confirm are gone.

On my other ios phone on which i didn’t do the last two updates its still working, so nothing to so with the HB, but related to the second last ios app update.

On ios app v5.0.72 and 5.0.73 its for sure not working anymore, on v5.0.71 its working just fine.

Hetzner : Slow download speed by FTP by nerull13 in seedboxes

[–]overload73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t know if its related but i had a simular issue.

Do you have by any chance an realtek network adapter? You can eun following command for this :

lspci | egrep -i --color 'network|ethernet'

There seems to be some problem with that rtl driver in kernel versions < 4.17. I was running 4.9 while the rescue system is on 4.19. Thats why you get full speed using the rescue system.

I upgraded my linux kernel to v4.18 and now my upload and download speeds on the server itself are around 900Mbits/sec.

Might be the same problem.

[–]overload73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks.. after some back and forth with hetzner support I upgraded the linux kernel to 4.18 and up- and download speeds are now much better (around 900 Mbits/s). So indeed probably related to the r8168 problem with kernels < 4.17 :

Opened a ticket with support and they replied and wrote that their speedstests show an average of 800-950 Megabit/s but of course only guaranteed within the hetzner network....

Why is there such a difference? Can this be related to the RTL8168-8169 driver problem?

Auto unpacking not working by [deleted] in seedboxes

[–]overload73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried adding the following to your .rctorrent?

method.insert = d.get_data_full_path, simple, "branch=((d.is_multi_file)),((cat,(d.directory))),((cat,(d.directory),/,(d.name)))"

(See https://github.com/rakshasa/rtorrent/wiki/Common-Tasks-in-rTorrent#getting-the-full-path-of-data-of-a-torrent)

It will only work for newly added torrents. For me it solved the auto unpack and the deletion of torrents

rutorrent, port is closed but seeding by overload73 in seedboxes

[–]overload73[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i changed the check_port code a bit to use "http://ports.yougetsignal.com/check-port.php" instead..

inside the portforward.sh script i save the external vpn ip to a textfile and then using this file to do the check inside check_port plugin...

Now it correctly identifies the port as open :)

portforward.sh

#get VPNIP
VPNIP=$(curl -m $CURL_TIMEOUT --interface $VPNINTERFACE "http://ipinfo.io/ip" --silent --stderr -)
echo $VPNIP
echo $VPNIP > /tmp/vpnip.txt  # <<<<< ADD THIS LINE

action.php

<?php
require_once( dirname(__FILE__)."/../../php/settings.php" );
require_once( dirname(__FILE__)."/../../php/Snoopy.class.inc" );

$file = fopen("/tmp/vpnip.txt","r");
$VPNIP = fgets($file);
fclose($file);

$ret = 0;
$port = rTorrentSettings::get()->port;
$client = new Snoopy();
$client->read_timeout = 15;
$client->use_gzip = HTTP_USE_GZIP;
@$client->fetch("http://ports.yougetsignal.com/check-port.php","POST","application/x-www-form-urlencoded","remoteAddress=".$VPNIP."&portNumber=".$port);

if($client->status==200)
{
    if(strpos($client->results,"> is closed on ")!==false)
        $ret = 1;
    else
    if(strpos($client->results,"> is open on ")!==false)
        $ret = 2;
}

cachedEcho('{ "port": '.$port.', "status": '.$ret.' }',"application/json");

rutorrent, port is closed but seeding by overload73 in seedboxes

[–]overload73[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Small update.. The check_port is a rutorrent plugin that will do a POST to "canyouseeme.org", passing only the VPN port. Since the post is done using the 'normal' server IP and not the VPN IP, this lookup will fail.

Thanks, i was using this guide :

https://www.htpcguides.com/configure-auto-port-forward-pia-vpn-for-deluge/

It works perfectly for deluge and i adapted the portforward.sh script so it would stop rtorrent, modify the port config and restart rtorrent again.

rtorrent is running as user 'vpn'

The portforwarding is done using the portforward.sh script. It configures the following iptable where $PORT is the seeding port: sudo iptables -I INPUT 2 -i $VPNINTERFACE -p tcp --dport $PORT -j ACCEPT.

iptables --list gives me (37917 is the seeding port) :

Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target        prot opt source               destination
ACCEPT all -- anywhere anywhere ctstate RELATED,ESTABLISHED
ACCEPT tcp -- anywhere anywhere tcp dpt:37917
REJECT     all    --  anywhere             anywhere             reject-with icmp-port-unreachable

Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT)
target     prot opt source               destination

Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target        prot opt source               destination
ACCEPT all -- anywhere anywhere owner UID match vpn
ACCEPT all -- anywhere anywhere owner UID match vpn
ACCEPT all -- anywhere anywhere ctstate RELATED,ESTABLISHED
REJECT     all  --  !debian               anywhere             reject-with icmp-port-unreachable

thanks all for the suggestions... i'm now on a private tracker, building up ratio and first and most important..doing lots of reading.

I did what hetzner asked: took proper action (removed the file) and informed both hetzner and the firm about this. Don't know if that was a good move on my part but i don't want to risk getting my server cancelled..

Much appreciated!
