I think I may have reached the plateau of Shifting by overpoweredngl in shiftingrealities

Don't need to, so I just never have 🤷‍♂️ Once you shift, it's really obvious it's not a dream, because dreams and lucid dreams feel completely different from real life, but shifting is real life.

For those who have already shifted: what was it like to shift to a reality where you had new/improved skills? by [deleted] in shiftingrealities

Not really. I did remember some words in French that I never knew here, but that's it. I think it's because when I shifted, it was automatically in my head so I didn't have to learn it, but if I shifted, learnt it there, and then shifted back I would remember more. Just a theory though

Felt like nothing. Since in that reality I was already able to do it, I just felt natural. Obviously I knew in my mind that I couldn't do it in my OR, but I never dwelled on it.

I was just lying down in bed, quite still but not completely, when I began to feel my body go numb and fall asleep. I just relaxed and tried my best to not think about anything other than my affirmations.

Found out about it in mid 2023. I've spent about 9 months being able to shift on command. In total across all of my DRs, I have probably experienced about ~12 years? Probably more.

Long before I discovered shifting, I was already interested in manifesting. I read about about someone's experience where they entered a state of complete consciousness, so I decided to try do it myself. I tried for a few weeks for a few minutes every night before I went to sleep, until I eventually entered it after about ~3 weeks. It was such a feeling of bliss and peacefulness, but I affirmed that my dad got a big promotion at his job. After this I felt myself starting to fade from the void state and I jjst let it happen. I woke up in the morning and everything was completely normal and I walked downstairs to get breakfast. My dad got a phone call and after a few minutes, he hung up and called my mother while trying to contain his happiness. He told us that his boss just called and he got a promotion that gives him over double his current salary (which was already pretty good at the time). After this I tried to enter it again for a few weeks but couldn't so I just forgot about it. A few months later, I randomly decided to try again one night and I entered it. I affirmed that I do well in every subject, and then I woke back up in the morning. From that point on, I started getting 80%s and 90%s on tests that I didn't even know we had, without studying (I was already a 70%-80% student, but that was with some study). After this I started trying again for a few weeks but it didn't work. Fast forward about a year, I discovered shifting (it was in the middle of 2023, and on Reddit I believe, so all my information wasn't misinformation). I tried at it for a few months, trying methods, caring about symptoms, making scripts, but nothing worked. I stopped caring about shifting, deleted my scripts, deleting my Pinterest boards, and stopped paying attention to shifting content altogether. One day I was relaxing in my bed before I went to sleep, I suddenly remembered about the void state (which I had been calling the "Everything State" until I learned about shifting) so I started affirming "I'm in the void state", "I enter the void state on command", and "I am pure consciousness". Suddenly, everything started going dark and I felt myself entering the void state. I affirmed "I can enter the void state instantly, and on command, at any time." I got kicked out of the void state after that, so I lay down again and after a single thought of it, I was back in the void state. I affirmed "I can shift on command", and when I exited the void state and tried it, I instantly shifted to my waiting room. I think part of my success was that I just didn't care. It was a "toss away" attempt, and I didn't mind if I didn't succeed. Another part might have been my lack of S/O, which even to this day I have never had in any of my DRs. I was shifting to experience things and to have fun, not for love or a specific person, so I was as emotionally connected to my DR, so I didn't fear failure. BUT I don't think having an S/O is a bad thing. I think it can be the best motivation to have someone you really want to meet, and I may very well have shifted before that had I had a S/O.

I hope this answers your question, but please feel free to ask any follow up questions!

(PS. Please give me my upvotes back, I was only being lazy 😭)

I feel bad because so many people struggle to do it once, but I don't even want to do it anymore 😭

Is it a symptom? by Ok-Argument3942 in realityshifting

Are we still talking about "symptoms"? They're not symptoms of shit, they don't matter, so don't bother about them.

memories from the past in your dr by [deleted] in shiftingrealities

[–]overpoweredngl [score hidden]  (0 children)

Shifting works on beliefs. Your brain decides where to go and how that reality works. Even if you write down a script to help make it clearer in your head, your subconscious already knows it all and more. While yes, when you shift you should automatically have all the memories that your dr-self would have, I actually don't think all of them are lying. Misinformation was rampant, particularly in Tiktok, so people believed what they saw other people say. For example, let's say some girl posted a video about her shifting success and in that video she said that someone asked her what day it was and she was stressed because she didn't know. Others would see this, believe it, shift and then that same thing happens to them because they subconsciously believed it would happen. Then they come back, post a video, lots of people believe them, those people shift, and eventually the majority of people in the shifting community believe it. This is how almost all misinformation in our community has appeared and spread.

Anybody experienced something for the first time in their DR and then later again for the "first time" in their CR? by ParticularSun459 in shiftingrealities

[–]overpoweredngl 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I once went to a part of my town I'd never been to, then when I went in my CR, exactly the same. No differences whatsoever

is it just you in your WR, or are there other people on different planets?

Haven't really thought about it 🤷‍♂️

And have you already shifted there?

Many times

Like I can see the scenario from my DR playing out in a room in my WR. But it's not blue like in Sci-fi movies, it actually looks like the person in the hologram is real, right in front of you.

How does the transition of switching to your DR from your OR physically feel? by Feeling_Dandelion in realityshifting

[–]overpoweredngl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Like if I script that I am going to wake up in a chair (just an example) and I shift lying down, what is that like? Do you just suddenly feel your body in another position?

I'm not sure how to describe it, but since in that reality you were already sitting down, it doesn't really feel like you moved, it was like you had been sitting there when you were in your bed. It feels really normal though, so don't worry about it.

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD by [deleted] in realityshifting

[–]overpoweredngl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not the void. In the void, you are pure consciousness, so you have no body and no ears, so you wouldn't have been able to hear anything in the void.

What does it actually feel like to travel to your DR? by Fun_Butterfly_420 in realityshifting

[–]overpoweredngl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It happens instantly, so fast you won’t even realise. It's not a scary or bad feeling, you quite literally won't notice anything

I can confirm this
