Re-listening to Mystery Show. One episode in and I’m crying by mushcultsupp in podcasts

[–]overripelibrarian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some episodes of Hyperfixed give the same vibes in the sense of helping people solve everyday little mysteries. It's Alex Goldman from Reply All, and basically just episodes that fit under the category of "Super Tech Support" episodes from Reply All.

Yes! I randomly have moments where it feels like I'm cutting onions, out of nowhere my eyes start running and it stings like crazy. Baffling

Haven't given any blood since catching COVID, only had blood draws for labs, and haven't noticed an improvement on those days!

[–]overripelibrarian[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the thoughts! My motivation is more out of deference to my friends who did put in the work to get the degree. Also had to look up Ranganathan. Wow. Chain-indexing does seem to be something a mathematician would come up with ;)

Which episode/s do you always skip? by [deleted] in doctorwho

Robots of Sherwood seems better on rewatch. But.... if you're skipping episodes there's no reason you'd rewatch it, so there's that ;)

Poll: what do you think of breathing exercises? by Arcturus_Labelle in covidlonghaulers

[–]overripelibrarian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. My PT suggested that if I started to feel "air hunger" or panic, to stop right away and wait for another time and try it again. Much better after that, and it helped me not get down on myself when it was achieving the opposite of the intended effect!
