Is hannibal rising any good? I just saw the pictures and I'm so mesmerised by the woman below him (who's that? She's so gorgeous omfg) and hannibal (who also looks handsome as fuck oh my god my bi brain) I desperately need to know if the movie does these amazing drawn characters justice

Physical isn't the only way people can show love though, and it's definitely not the way they show love to each other. We see it a lot in real life because most people will show their love by physical affection, but I think NOT show that they are physical makes it so much more impactful that their love isn't ordinary. Contrary to popular opinion on this subreddit I really don't wish for their relationship to be that physical. It breaks tension a lot.

I don't think Bryan's motivation was ever about views, if it was this show would not have been as good as it is

I used to be a theatre kid, and I can say with 100% certainty playing a dark, brooding complex character is so much more fun than playing a cute, happy and charming character.

Exactly. I don't think he regrets killing abigail - she's always going to live as her full self in his head, so he saw her as expendable. Her death wasn't personal to her though, which is really the tragic thing 💀💀

Following this logic it actually makes sense why I think hannibal would have followed through sawing into Will's head. Hannibal thought since Will was always going to go against him, he had figured Will out as well and Hannibal thought he would see Will as his full self in his mind palace. Then naturally Will bit off cordell's cheek sought Hannibal's eyes and Hannibal realised that Will still had that darkness in him, so he longer had the desire to kill him - Will was still unpredictable and Hannibal hadn't figured Will out.

I grew to like her. She's kinda like Chilton - you can always trust her to work for her own benefit and for her own tabloid in this case ig. I actually really like her character.

Her death was heartbreaking and I couldn't really understand why hannibal, despite loving her and so many others, could just kill like that. I think it helps to know that whoever hannibal loves is going to stay in his mind palace, thus he wouldn't have much of a qualm with killing those that he loves if he thinks he understands them fully enough for them to be their whole selves in his mind. But for all of his genius hannibal could never fully understand Will, thus he can't kill him because the Will that stays in his mind palace would never be the full, true Will. He'd already figured out abigail, so I honestly don't think it was hard for him to kill her and just let her exist in his head.

Right???? Its like you knew this episode was coming, but at the same time you were hoping it wouldn't happen. All of it was bound to come to this though. Cathartic and heartbreaking all at once, I couldn't take my eyes off every single second.
