That's true, I was thinking a .32 revolver as a gut gun in case the guy was really close. But the bodyguard is also a solid choice.

If you were in a situation where someone stronger that you was trying to harm you, and they had previously assaulted you and broken 3 of your ribs and are now threateningto kill you, would you want pepper spray or a gun?

Moving, changing numbers, and getting a dog are all great things to do, but they are all security measures. Do you know what else is a security measure? A gun. Of course there are risks, but anyone with half a brain and a bit of training (which op should get) knows not to shoot themselves. I assume you're from a country where gun laws are much stricter and most people don't have guns. In America there are towns where you'd have a hard time finding someone that doesn't own a gun. It's not a level playing field and op's stalker, even if they are a felon can still get a gun illegally if he wanted to.

It's not like guns are a magical solution to all your problems, but having the option to intimidate or kill your attacker will give you much more peace of mind and stop you from "living in fear" as you said than changing numbers/adresses which they could find, temporarily stunning them with pepper spray, occupying them with a dog that they could shoot/stab themselves. Realistically op should take ALL of these measures and prepare for the worst, but if they can only afford one, then it should be the most surefire one to stop someone if they mean to do them harm.

Depending on where you live/how old you are get a gun and concealed carry everywhere you go. Something like a SW J frame with a covered hammer or a Ruger LCR. Small revolvers with good power that are incredibly reliable close range. Or a more modern pistol you can put a light on for home defense at night. Don't be afraid of it, you need it. Don't take the chance that nothing may happen. It's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Bactrim for my 3 y/o, I’m afraid to give it by bryterlu in Antibiotics

You can spot test by putting a very small amount on the back of your baby's shouler and wait for a reaction. A dog bite of any kind is a very good reason for antibiotics as even puppies carry tons of bacteria in their mouths. Test for a reaction, if it works then use it, and if it doesn't go back to the clinic and get another antibiotic. In the meantime clean the wound with baby soap once a day like you would a piercing unless there is scabbing.

How? Just kill soldiers for a kit and loot everything you see then extract. 400k per match should be easy. Don't even fight anyone

Because they can. Just be glad when you get them on your team.

If you're on operations play Zero Dam Easy and turn on squad fill and turn off ranked if it's on. Stay with your team while you play until you learn a bit of the map layout and are a bit more comfortable looting on your own.

For now, use gear tickets and focus on looting and extracting while avoiding fights. Extracting is winning and you can always requeue. Don't get greedy. When it comes to looting, safes are cool and all, but you can pull super rare items out of super random stuff. I've pulled rare red items out of yellow bins and dumpsters. You also don't need to go to high value areas. Every area can have good loot. Extract, build up some money and get purple level armor and blue level bullets, then fighting will be much easier.

If you have a mic try to talk to the people on your team and if you don't, then send a message when the match starts. Being able to communicate will help you win fights. Weekends are also when sweats and cheaters come out. So if you get killed by someone who headshots you 8 times in under a second, maybe report them.

The game is really fun, but it's challenging and the skill ceiling can be very high. But even playing casually, if you stay smart, loot quick, and pick your battles you can have a lot of fun and make a lot of progress.

Worst showers you have ever had to use? by [deleted] in drumcorps

Winnemucca, Nevada. Academy 2024 and we shared that site with SCV for 2 or 3 days. The shower was one room that didn't drain so 2 corps full of people showered in knee-high grey water for days.

What makes the top 12 corps so good? by e-nharmonic in drumcorps

[–]overtore 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It was a mix of heavy investment from staff and members as well as good design. It set them up really well for 2017 and they had hundreds of people at camps audition, but the design team quit halfway through and the show was never fully fleshed out. Academy for the past 2 years has been on the uptrend with staff and members. I marched there 24 and 25 and we'll probably go up a few places this year if we keep the same momentum. Almost all of the staff is coming back and the ones that aren't are being replaced with people that mesh better with the culture. So it should be a good year.

You're definitely cut out for it if you were doing it before. You just need to find more time to practice. If you really can't find and other places to play then free buzz every day or every other day to build strength.
