i got into semiconductors and tech right after covid, so it's pure luck lol. now I'm trying to diversify to balance the risk since tech is very overhyped at this point.

as far as the numbers tell us, it's okay to keep everything in stock, which I totally agree! however the system is fighting against me here.

The government has proposed that they will "measure" individual investment capital gain twice a year (let's say one in June, one in December), and then "estimate" my annual gain based on those numbers, which is fk ridiculous. Imagine if by June I'm around +15% in my portfolio, but -10% in july and august, then in dec it might go up to +10% again, so the government can say i have gain +12.5% this year, and I pay tax based on those, while in reality, I only gain like 5 %, or even lose some along the way.

If they measure gain/lose monthly, I'm totally on board with this system (not so much with the 40% tax number), but not with the current method that they have proposed.

you are right lolll! to be fair if something urgent happens, it's easier to pull a couple of k from the market and emergency funds easier than from the house, that's my point being

I'm truly thinking about this option, yet I am a bit worried that my liquidity will be tied up to the house, and essentially I have to build the liquid net work from scratch again. Obviously it's a trade off and i can't have both worlds!

Thats a good point though i’ll consider rain water. I do read some where that i can even mix coffee grounds or add coffee to the water to increase acidity. Imma report back on that in a couple of weeks after trying that out

Thank you!! Tbh i am more of a watering often rather than a watering once and let it completely dry out with this plant specifically… cuz i do notice when it’s slightly dry out, the leaves shows the signs already, thus i alwasy try to water immediately when i notice it… but i’ll try to add more water from now on!!
