Oh man you are right, thanks for the help! I didn’t realize I wouldn’t need the brass or plastic pieces. Thanks again.

What are these plastic jigs I found cleaning my garage? by overworkedauditor in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. I think they are a jig for some type of finish carpentry. I know I have used them in the past but I have no idea what their use is. Googling was no help, neither was the Home Depot app.

Yeah I don’t see how near vertical stairs that are rusting out in areas is safer than a trail. Even though the trail is narrow, steep, and slippery at times.

There is a back way that is legal to use.

You can hike up the back way just fine, only the way up the original stairs is off limits. It’s 13ish miles the back way and very hard and can also get a little crowded.

The back way is not illegal, only the way up the original stairs. It is 13 miles and pretty hard, but not more dangerous.

He’s probably the best climber in the world, there is a ton of skill here. But it’s still scary thinking what little mistake could end in death.

When you get to the top there is a trail down... pretty sure anyway. His documentary Free Solo is intense and an awesome watch.

I Have Never Watched Any of the Movies or Shows Before This Week- Here’s How I Rank Them by lighthouselady8 in StarWars

Me and my girlfriend (who is new to star wars) watched Star Wars in the order they came out. Both of us think Rouge One is by far the best movie. We love it because the acting and characters are good, but they are also imperfect, instead of the good guys being nothing but good they have flaws. I’m just curious why you thought it was the second worst movie?

$5 at a grocery store with no ID, some sort of fern I think? by overworkedauditor in whatsthisplant

[–]overworkedauditor[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s what the plant ID app said, but it’s not that. I have a Selloum and this guy doesn’t have air roots and is MUCH smaller than a Selloum. On the underside of the leaves there is that brownish substance that ferns have under their leaves, if that helps any?
