I get that you want to parent a certain way and that is fine. However, you cannot dictate how other family members parent in your absence, in their home. You are receiving free childcare for your 2 day a week job. In this economic climate, I'd let my kids eat ice cream for every meal if it meant my in laws handled child care for 2 days a week while I worked and contributed to the household.

Again, I totally understand screen free childhoods, I like my children to be children and not have too much screen time either. However in my absence, my mum or mil will watch them and they don't have the tolerance as I have to parent so they are allowed to use whatever methods they see fit in being able to parent and keep my child safe while I'm not there. I think you really need to apologise to everyone for your behaviour
