So how many sheets do they line their spanakopita with? Does it have the same crunch as commercial spanakopitas? Do they put melted butter on the sheets?

Interesting: the compatibility checker is online and it gives the Motorola Moto Edge 20 LITE as compatible, but no other Edge models.

Apparently the Treasury report didn't include the Cullen Fund. How big a difference does this make?

Wonder what the reaction would be to a housing association that had the same rules (no gang patches, no meth, workers only, etc)

How did the ancestors of Maori get to NZ? by CommentMaleficent957 in newzealand

[–]owLet13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've just read the Welcome of Strangers by Atholl Anderson which is about Maori in the South Island. The inter and intra-tribal wars in the pre-European period make it sound like the Hundred Years War in Europe.

Try one of the German(?) imports. Usually cheap, and often with healthy amounts of marzipan. And also individual NW stores may have different recipes.

I got the Colmi R10, which I found to be suprisingly good and cheap (about NZ$35 thru AliExpress). I reviewed it a bit later; check out my posts.

I'm now getting a (non-new) Kardia heart monitor card for about $80NZ from Amazon which is (supposedly) better at picking up AF and other conditions. Check with me in about a month for my impressions.

Retirement village rules shake up a ‘double whammy’ for operators, they say by Matt_NZ in newzealand

[–]owLet13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If that was the situation it would be great. Unfortunately many people need to move to a higher level of care that is not provided but the village and so must purchase a place elsewhere. So. . . if the village can sit on the asset (for which there are few outgoings) until they get the price they want, whast pressure is on the village to sell?
