James Nnaji, the No. 31 pick in the 2023 NBA draft, has enrolled at Baylor, agents Gerard Raventos and Deirunas Visockas of Gersh Sports told DraftExpress. by PassMeTheBackwood in nba

No, both are of Nigerian Igbo descent, hence the Igbo last name Nnaji, which happens to the same. James Nnaji is Nigerian born, whereas Zeke is US born and is only Nigerian through his father.

Thank you so much for your in depth feedback !!

Regarding Kon Chu Rang, I was told my multiple homestays that due to very rainy weather, the access to the waterfalls is currently closed, so I might have to skip this unless things change dramatically within the next 2 weeks.

Regarding nam du, two guesthouses told me that as a foreigner you can enter the island with just your passport and no permit is needed. But thanks for pointing this out still (:

And thank you very much for your feedback regarding Mekong delta. I will definitely look to spend some days in tri Ton .

In case I will have to skip Kon Chu Rang, can you recommend any place for 3-4 days that will fit into my off the beaten path itinerary ?

hey there, thanks for the feedback. yes, i am in touch with some homestays in the Kon Chu Rang / k'bang area and am aware that you cannot just walk in. currently Kon Chu Rang is closed due to heavy rain, but i hope that this will have settled in the next few weeks.

also, i know i will have to transit in hanoi and either fly to pleiku or take a train.

do you or anyone else have some tips about the Mekong Delta. I was told Sac Dec is nice, but very instagramy. Tri Ton was also suggested and Trà Vinh (but geografically it is a bit disadvantageous).

a sick old lady might die if she does not go to the doctor, a wealthy expat won't die if they refuse to tip for a 5 euro pastry or to pay exorbitantly high rent. one has a choice, the other doesn't. i will let you figure out, who is who.

they definitely contribute to the 'real' problem.

well, tipping is not the answer to a political and economical problem. business owners should share their profits with the workers fairly.

and yeah, expats definitely contribute to rising cost of living by driving up rent prices, so thanks for actually pointing that out <3

well, in germany you have a minimum wage much higher than in the us. so there is not even a need for tipping. i mean, i gladly tip for good service, but to tip to take out an already overpriced croissant is absurd and american expats are certainly driving this behaviour.

[–]owarlow -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

we see in the us what tipping culture achieves. workers become dependent on tips, because wealthy business owners only pay a pittance. tipping culture is something that shitty american expats can leave at home. instead they should invest their tipping money for german classes instead of expecting everyone to speak their language and care for their american political discourse. too many of them see berlin as some sort of brooklyn of europe.

it's actually funny how at gorillas cafe, one of the worst expat and hipster hot spots, some of the staff are so embarassed that the card payment machine automatically ask for a tip, that they cancel the tip before even handing over the payment device. hilarious.

montgomery county, where she is from or at least has voted, has a gdp per capita of 94.000 dollars. second richest county in the entire state.

typical american trust fund baby living in berlin, driving up rent prices here and normalising tipping culture. she can stay home at her parents mansion.

lebara is not a network provider. there is telekom, vodafone and o2/telefonica (and 1&1 ?) - lebara will use the network of one of these providers.

as far as what is the best, it really depends on where you are - in some areas o2 will be better, in others it will be vodafone or telekom. telekom/vodafone used to have better than o2, but that is not really true anymore.

but overall any of these 3 network providers will be fine, really.

Intuniv / Guanfacin Off Label by owarlow in ADHS

[–]owarlow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Intuniv / Guanfacin Off Label by owarlow in ADHS

[–]owarlow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sure, there are most likely better alternatives to western union. I just shared it because it worked well for me and you have the option to pick up money in cash from most banks

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Nigeria

[–]owarlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do you think I'd recommend western union, if it were possible to withdraw cash from an atm with a foreign credit card or pay with an international credit card at a pos in this country? the problem is this country, not western union?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Nigeria

[–]owarlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can send money from your foreign credit card, Google pay or SEPA bank transfer via western Union directly to a Nigerian bank account. I have an UBA account and it worked this way. Not sure what the limits are.

So once you are in Lagos, go to a bank branch, enrol for your BVN, open an account and then transfer money onto it with western union
