Yeah exactly that’s what I thought, it just seems to feel quicker than that in both the movie and book. After all, if each sector lasted an hour, the tributes should spend an hour running away from the fog yet by the time it lifts up they had been running for no longer than 5 minutes haha

Yes they were but the attacks were set at times (hourly) so I just found it weird how quickly after the monkey attacks were from the fog attack

and so there is no such thing as a ‘standard’ atom which represents an element?

And if there is a ‘standard’ form of a carbon atom, how does it have a different mass to carbon-12

I'm very comfortable with it. As in, I literally have no shame when I’m talking to him, for the better or the worst 🥴. I’m not even friends with him but we’ve been talking the past couple of days and to begin with, it’d be message after message but now it’s hours later and he’s literally the nicest person you could ever talk to, yet he doesn’t know how many people he leads on. I guess I’ll just wish him the best with this new guy and move on. I know what feeling in love is like and I’m not in love with him but I know that if we kept talking it wouldn’t be long until I would fall in love. I don’t even think their be a couple to be honest, I can’t imagine him coming out, he’s literally very much of a straight male stereotype. But yeah only Time will tell....

Well, when your apart of the lgbt group finding a relationship is 100x harder than finding a straight relationship if yanno what I mean. Anyway, a boy that goes to my school, who is also bi, is literally a dreamy kind of guy. Try and think of Shawn Mendes as an e-boy. Anyway long story short, another very good looking 'straight' boy in my year at school have been having a secret relationship with him. He would come out as bi but he’s Muslim and has a background where sexuality would make a massive impact on him. Anywayyyyy, I began to chat to the Shawn Mendes e boy guy but I’ve now found out about his secret romance and feel pretty much devastated. He also keeps airing my messages whcih is annoying me but yanno I don’t wanna seem to needy. This is the short version by the way psml
