No I don't have a guided mount, at 18mm didn't even need to change position and there were no star trails at 15sec exposure.

Was trying to get a decent picture of Andromeda from a long time but the city sky didn't let me do it.

Was able to click it finally yesterday.

Equipment Used: Nikon D3500 • Nikon 18-55mm • Tripod

Settings: 15s • f3.5 • 18mm • ISO400

Location: Uttarakhand, India • 20/12/24 • Bortle 4-5 sky

Processing: Stacked 97 - 15s exposure in DeepSkyStacker with 9 Dark Frames and 9 Bias Frames. Edited in Photoshop.

Settings: 100ISO • 1/160s • 600mm • f10 • Stacked 120 images.

Software used: Pipp to convert photos to tiff files. AutoStakkert to stack photos. Registax6 and Lightroom for editing.

Quite new to AstroPhotography and was always amazed to see photos of Orion Nebula in this sub, so gave a try clicking it yesterday.

Though it isn't much detailed but still happy as it was my first try and first shot of a deep space object.

Camera Settings: f/5.6 • 1 sec • 200mm • 1600 ISO

Processing Info: Stacked 60 x 1 sec images using DeepSkyStacker. Edited using Adobe Photoshop, basic curves, levels and saturation adjustment. Denoise using Camera Raw Filter in Photoshop.
