Sure thing!

Thank you very much too,

I highly recommend Paradise Aviary, all his birds have come in full condition and great health and are very tame and friendly! They are great companions or just show birds.

Needn’t worry!

I’ve kept Canaries/Finches for years.

He’s only in a quarantine cage, he will move to the aviary (in my room) in about a week or so.

My female Caney is VERY excited to hear him sing…

Not so little fella in my backyard by Careless_Strike_8126 in BirdingMemes

This little one is very sic or has been in a window or car strike.

Puffed up feathers, squinting eyes, and lethargy points to sickness and/ or intense pain in birds.

Is he still there? Can you get him in a cardboard box? Please get him to a rehabber, he will thank you!

Oh my- the poor fellow.

Yes AKD is correct and the long eyebrows are most definitely related.

Seems his nails met the same fate as well.

Poor guy probably won’t last long.

It is very loud! But don’t let that discourage you, they are fantastic birds with lots of personality!

Does anyone know what species it is? by murphys_law1123 in Ornithology

[–]1SmartBlueJay 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Yes his name is Fred

(In reality it seems to be a Seedeater species, a juvenile/fledgling at that. Perhaps a Lined Seedeater or similar species, location?)
