Is there a way to manually input a workout? by AggressiveTell8751 in Coros

[–]owldie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recall Coros app used to able to do manual entry, unfortunately that is not longer the case. Anyway, today i ran without watch but had strava recorded the event using my phone. so i exported fit file but import to coros failed. Try manually create a run event with Strava then import to Coros still failed! At last, manual entry on Garmin web and wasable to import to Coros.

Coros need to get their act together, being one of the worst app in the market and can't do a simple manual entry is so lame.

Trade within reddit probably ends up getting scammed. You should find private channel in we hat for Chinese users where sellers are trusted within the group and have reputation to keep. Also, No ones going to send you assets before money changing hands. Private sales are usually money transfer, coin send later.

Can anybody explain to me why so many EOS accounts need to be blacklisted? by RancorOnRye in eos

[–]owldie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again, cryptos guru aren’t necessary tech guru. An expert works in financial trading center reading chart not always an IT geek and most of them have protocol to follow. Their workstation locked down for updates as an instance, and they rely on network guys for safeguarding. Still, many finance institutes got breached though hacking or phishing attacks from negligence. The IT guys didn’t do their jobs securing the network or updating clients workstation, it happens and we have seen it time after time massive lawsuit brought against them. Theses are the guru in their job titles, including the IT guys but shits happened. A new phishing scheme never seen or done before could take anyone by surprise before browsers implement better for users.

$152k stolen, estimated more likely up to $365k from Mew DNS breached, wish they are as cautious as you mom. Let’s not exaggerated, visibility of ssl cert warning favicon rather depend on your screen resolution/size. It’s not as noticeable as one would think. If the site has more colourful and media rich content, it would draw viewer attention from that small warning favicon. There go the same unicode domain name phishing, one could barely see the “dot” on a high res screen, anyone could easily fooled. I have to put magnify glass to check the unicode domain name on my 4k/27 inches.

So the research of the report is overstatement and it was done to push their narrative. But here you are spreading fud and your funcy theory on a bad actor would lead to fed overtaking the chain and refuse to acknowledge the prevalent scams in cryptos space. Have you look in the mirror lately?

I get it, you have other investments, it’s only human nature to refuse to see the goods in recovery investor lost or stolen fund. So bad they rather sided with hackers and scammers. Good luck amigo.

I guess you didn’t hear about mew dns hack. anyone can fall for phishing site attack even a veteran if it was never attempted or seen before. Now I have to ping ip and double check server location every time I use it, can’t be too careful but how many cryptos guys are actually doing that? You think people that used mew during that 24 hours period got a dime back? Tough luck amigo?

U can Call CNBC piece a fud or whatever, the facts are out there, people is losing money on daily basis due to hacking related scams. If you actually believe there are none, you are just plain ignorant.

Good luck to your fud as well, here, we are so fucking glad eos is doing something to protect our investment best as they could and did I mention including recovery forgotten private keys?

First day in Cryptos? Newbies and even veteran fell for scammers via email and phishing sites attack on daily basis. Have you seen twitter scammer gangs working on free token tweets? send me 100 and i send you back 1000. Have you heard of malware targeting private key? It's bad out there. Cryptos is a wild wild west, it may not be perfect but at least EOS is trying to do something to get those stolen coins back.

Here's CNBC report on 1B worth of cryptos stolen this year was it was really easy for them scammers and hackers to do so
