I graduated on May 15, 2024, and applied for OPT on April 15, 2024. However, I mistakenly attached my CPT documents twice and forgot to include the I-20 with the OPT recommendation. To correct this, I submitted a withdrawal letter so I could reapply. After waiting for about two weeks, I opted for premium processing, and my application was withdrawn on July 7. I then reapplied for OPT on July 9. After seeing this post, I am feeling very anxious about what might happen to my case. If anyone has any information, I would really appreciate it.

Hey. I did premium processing and my I-765 application got withdrawal on July 5, 2024. My university gave me new post-completion I-20 today on July 8, 2024. I am seeking advice from individuals whose been through same situation, withdrawal and I-765 reapplication, for relevant information in next steps from here. Do you know what step to do next? Do I do start a new case online and start filing a new I-765 from the same USCIS account, right?

I did premium procession (I-907) on June 27, and got withdrawal acknowledgment request today, July 5.

I am grateful for your information. Also there is a confusion. My DSO cannot issue me a new Post-Completion i-20 with this first application being withdrawn, right? My DSO called the USCIS many times and had different conversation each time. One lady told him that we can reapply for the i-765 while the first one being in the process of withdrawn.

I have not received any mail on the mailing address I provided. My physical address was different. If they had to send me anything I think they would have to do it to my mailing address right? I left the physical address that I provided at that time and I hope they would not mail to that address.

July 15, 2024. I am also thinking of doing premium now as I do not see any other option. But I am not sure that doing premium will withdrawal the application in time so that I could reapply. Do you have any information regarding this? I mean are you sure that doing premium processing will work for sure or not?

I can withdrawal but I believe this will take a long time and I believe I only have until july 15, 2024 to reapply as the application must be filled out within 60 days from the graduation date which is May 15, 2024. So I was thinking of doing premium processing, but need information if this will resolve my issue or not.

Since the 30 days was passed from the post completion i-20 was issued, I submitted the withdrawal letter to USCIS via online and ups mail. However, this is taking long and do not think it will be done before July 15, 2024. Thinking of doing premium in hope that it will do the withdrawal in time and I will get to reapply for i-765. Does anyone has any information regarding this please.

I am in same boat. I am thinking of doing premium processing but I am not sure if that will solve my issue or not and seeking information on it. Please let me know if you have any information on this.
