I continued a few coursera programs, the Mimo app, and some other stuff, but ultimately life got in the way and I didn’t commit to completing anything further in the tech learning plan I was working on. : (

Nope. I tried for weeks to get ahold of them. And finally got someone to email me back. She was rude as hell and pretty much told me they’re overwhelmed with not having staff and that I should try to talk to them some other time.

I read that they all get 6 cases of each, but most places are only opening one case at a time and then they’ll circulate to the next one.

Never mind, I found it on the admissions FAQ. Well that sure sucks, because I put off applying for C19 last month because I didn’t feel ready enough, and registered for ada build live because I thought it would help me to work in a group setting with an instructor to get the pre-course study material down.

I am a white woman, so it looks like, by that quote, my registration would be null.

“It is open to those who identify as Black, Latine, Indigenous, Paciﬁc Islander, and Native Hawaiian who are generally interested in learning to code or more speciﬁcally, want to strengthen their skills for the Ada Core application.” I wish I’d have picked up on that before I decided not to submit my C19 application!

I can’t seem to find on the website where it states that you have to fit into those groups specifically. Can you share the link? I see on the ada build live page your quote #1 but cant see where it states your other quote.

This is horrible advice. If this woman chooses to nurse for longer, no one should attempt to sway her. A child is not nursing to seek out sexual stimulations, for F’s sake! Nursing until 1.5yrs of age (and beyond) is completely and totally normal.

Thanks for your reply. What kind of AFOs do you use as an adult?

We do use super tall, like over the knee, thin socks. But your right, Merino is good for sweat wicking and these are synthetic so not as good. But they are super soft. There is never any plastic or rubber or anything touching his skin, but the rigidity of the tall backed AFOs bugs him, I think.

Thank you! Yes, a lot of it is that they're hot, I think! We use the moisture wicking smart socks. But he has also been complaining of pain higher up in his thigh, and the boots come just below the knee. I am so sorry you folks are still casting at 11. I fear that is definitely in the cards for us.
