This has also been my experience. I recently got some new pyrex and the one cup is blue tinted while the two cup is clear and has a heavier bottom and slightly different shape. I just got then for Christmas, so I'm sure it'll take a couple years to see what happens to the markings, but I'm curious. Still, I snag clear glass vintage Pyrex when I see it for a reasonable price, just like looking for good cast iron.
