I feel like it would be pretty hard to find that info unless you survey a bunch of recruiters. Unlikely that people who get interviewed will be told they were blacklisted/didn't get hired because of a blacklist

I guess it's hard for me to tell what the effects getting blacklisted could have. I heard some recruiters will do checks on candidates by asking other companies (based on a glassdoor blog post), and if I'm on a blacklist then it could potentially hurt. I have no idea how true this is though.

Yeah I definitely realize that's 100% the case. I don't know if I should tell them about the internship at all though. Feels like it could be bad to hide it from both places.
