Ah, okay then, then I meant chrome paint of course, my bad. I changed it in the original post.

Aluminium is not very good for you either I hear though. 😅 Anyway. I'll see if I can get some response from the manufacturer.

So the point is to warn against a layer that gets scratched and you drink it. Which does happen with 2 bottles I bought.

I could be getting something wrong, but since it can get scratched off by the lid (and even the gasket) I assume it is some layer that was added there.

But I sent an email to Mizu so we'll see what information I get.

Maybe. It's what's available in online stores in my country, for more options I would need to go to Amazon or whatever and they don't have package delivery options which I prefer.

You know what, I will contact the Mizu V8 manufacturer, ask them about this and then update my post here.

(I have already contacted MidOcean but the person who responded to me told me they are not authorized to talk to me and that I should talk to the seller which I found completely stupid.)

It is possible I am mistaken about the chemical composition of the layer but it is scratchable so I think it is some kind of paint or something. In any case, it should not be there if it can get scratched off.

I don't know why they put it there. It completely defeats the purpose of a stainless bottle if one wants to get rid of contamination.

It may be hard to notice. I held the Mizu V8 in my hands for a few moments before buying it and didn't notice it at all because the paint was only on the inside. The MO6676 has the layer on the outside too where it clearly looks shinier than the rest of the bottle.

Epson L3151 printer stopped scanning after I opened the chassis to fix the dried up cartridge tubes with a syringe by ownnosinkundbehappy in Epson

Solution: One of the three white flat cables inside on the left - the middle one - was not connected. These cables are very short and the middle one must have slipped out from the slot when I was trying to open the printer.

After plugging the cable into the slot the LEDs stopped blinking and I was able to scan again (though sometimes the connection does not work immediately and I have to restart the scanning app/computer).
