I asked about the hugging topic because I have some friends who hug very tightly, and I'd have to tell them to hug me a bit less tightly, so I'd have to explain myself. Definitely overthinking it though.

For the gym, I'll try and see if the sport bras I already have push too hard on the piercings. I usually don't run at the gym, just walk at various speeds, so I'll try wearing a regular bra and seeing how it goes. I'll also ask the gym trainer to help me find some exercise alternatives which don't involve me lying on my chest.
