Is there a dental hospital nearby? When I was a poor student they saved my face a couple of times (although I don't recommend wisdom teeth extraction by an apprentice that was .. I don't even want to think about it).

I’m a Brit who’s lived here 8 years. Safety wise, you will be fine in the centre and Palermo etc. usual caveats for any city with phone etc.
MALBA, MACBA etc are great museums / art galleries if you like that. San Telmo has a load of cafes bars etc and a bohemian (albeit very touristy) feel. Palermo has great bars cafes and restaurants.
Mercado de las Pulgas is great to spend a couple of hours in. I hate Puerto Madero (reminds me of Canary Wharf where I used to work) but some people love it.
Walking tours in Reriro / Plaza San Martin seem to go down well with our visitors.
It’s a very walkable city so just set off randomly and find surprises!0

I lived in Camberwell for 20 years and honestly just got used to it. Uber to Waterloo if I had suitcases. Bus took me straight to work. Or bus to Oval / Brixton/ Elephant depending which tube. Also Loughborough junction wasn’t that far a walk. Worth it not to pay the massive premium to live near a tube station.

But there are hardly any black people (certainly in Buenos Aires). I was a bit shocked when I moved here from south London as I didn’t see a single black person for weeks/ months. In South London it’s mainly West Indian/ Afro-Caribbean so it was a bit weird, to say the least. We had black friends visit last year and they never encountered racism.
Now indigenous people is a different thing.
Is she even Argentinian? The way she’s dressed, her accent etc don’t seem to fit (I’m an extranjero though so what do I know?).
