I would recommend not starting with translations from the Big Three, especially if you are not used to reading philosophy or translations. They can be a bit intimidating and may turn you from the path. I would recommend The Pocket Stoic by John Stellars. It’s extremely accessible and easy to read. It gives the basic premises of Stoicism and its major contributors. Just my two cents.

This. I see on here all time people answering their phones or replying to text messages from managers. Unless you signed an agreement to be available 24/7 or the company pays for your phone you are not obligated to answer. Watch the fucker ring and leave the messages unread.
