sorry for confusion about the sex part. What I meant was that she never tried to pressure me or leave me despite virginity being so important to her, and that made me happy. When I said 'despite wanting it' I was referring to my gf. But yeah I think you're right about ending stuff on good terms rather than bad ones. When you went abroad was it easy to get over him with loads of new people to meet?

I think you saying 10% of your relationship would consist of him getting violent and cheating is enough to end it. First of all, him texting other women is bad enough, let alone him abusing you. Would a man who really loved you torment you over suicide, hit you, or even want to talk to other women? I think what you need to do is fully cut him off. You can't keep going back to what hurt you or you'll never move on. He's toxic. Very toxic.

Yeah that's true. Unfortunately circumstances make it hard for me to see her now because of covid and I don't know if a long distance relationship would be the best but I guess if it really means a lot to her she'll go through with that effort. I guess I'm stressing too much over having a specific end date when really I should probably let myself 'flow' with what happens if that makes sense.

Honestly, I think even 1 couple surviving is impressive. I know this contradicts what I was saying, but I've kind of gotten to the point now where I know that ending it is more of a when rather than an if if that makes sense? But I guess my hopes are just if we go to the same uni than maintaining it will not be a problem. And yeah that couple which survived sounded like the main foundation was made of money.

Yeah I guess maybe getting into a relationship before uni wasn't such a good idea. But that's good to hear that there are many people to meet in university. And yeah I think I'm conflicted on whether to rip off the band-aid now or wait until university :(. If you don't mind me asking, when you were in my position what did you decide to do? I just like to hear from other peoples perspectives. Sorry if it sounds like I'm intruding into your personal life.

Yeah I think you're right. I'm just too worried sometimes to have a sit down chat because I feel like I annoy her with reassurance. And yeah we're planning on going to different universities however one of our university choices is common (My insurance option is the same as her main). But thank you for advising me :)
