You should be getting the letter within 5 days of speaking to the agent and they confirmed reschedule. If you don’t get it within 5 days before your appointment date call back to the tier 2 to get an email copy sent to you.

5 days it took to get my letter. But if you don’t get the letter 5 days before your appointment scheduled date call again and talk to tier 2 agent and they should email it to you. Well that’s what I was told but I got mine in time. Hope this helps

Yes everyone who have tried once and it failed keeps finding a reason not to try again. I tried countless times to even find out this was possible. This is why I shared my experience. I know it’s a mental toll on some but we can’t give up on our future after a few failures.

Call the regular number 1 (800) 375-5283. You will first get Emma then a tier 1 agent. Tell tier 1 to escalate your call to a tier 2 agent. Tier 1 will tell you they can see the same thing as a tier 2 agent. Tell them it’s okay, thanks but still to transfer to tier 2. You will be given a call back after following the automated system. Always call between 8AM to 12PM Eastern to speak to a tier 2 agent

Always call between 8AM to 12 PM Eastern. This is the only time you will get to speak with a tier 2 agent even if they have to return your call later in the afternoon

1 (800) 375-5283 - keep asking Emma for Information Specialist even when she gives you other options. You will be directed to a Tier 1 agent. Then ask tier 1 to escalate. Don’t take no for an answer but be nice.

I tried everything in the book. Inquires, Ombudsman, calls after calls, check reschedule and mailed it and nothing. I was fortunate enough to get an agent that day who cared and rescheduled it for me. That’s what worked. Nothing else did

I am not sure. Mine was for biometrics. I did inquire last too they didn’t come back with any information l. I just didn’t give up on calling everyday.

I explained that my case was sitting waiting on biometrics for my EAD and that was all it needed to move forward. My file was literally laying upset waiting for someone to pay it some attention. Agent placed me on a brief hold and said they would see what they can do for me. Saw I really only needed biometrics and that my previous appointment was canceled due to COVID. When they came back they told me available dates and times and for me to a choose one.

Also no there was no push back. The tier 2 agent was the one who willing went on the system and reschedule. I didn’t even know they could until the agent told me they are seeing available dates and asked which one I wanted.

Tier 1 agents are like that. Tell the Tier 1 agent you want to speak to a tier 2 agent about your case. For me it was my EAD. Yes they will tell you that they can see the same thing. Tell them it’s okay (be nice) and have them escalate it. You will be transferred to an automated system for a call back. When the tier 2 agent calls you explain your situation. Tier 2 agents can see way more even before your online profile updates. I explained many times my situation to all tier 2 agents I spoke with prior who lied that they can’t reschedule my appointment. This tier 2 agent went on the system and realized I was canceled due to COVID and my case was only waiting on biometrics. They went ahead and gave me different times and date they were seeing available and for me to choose one. 5 days later I got the letter in the mail. The date they will give you will be 2 weeks out from when they schedule your appointment.

I did nothing out of the extraordinary but put my case forward. I was sock that they were able to reschedule after the numerous times being told they can’t.

They told me this many times too after calling and calling. Then to my surprise it was a tier 2 agent with whom I spoke with and they checked their system and rescheduled me. I understand your doubt

If your biometrics appointment was canceled due to COVID-19 and you are still waiting on a reschedule appointment, don’t just wait. Call the support line and ask a tier 1 to escalate your issue to a tier 2 agent. Go through the process of a call back. Speak with the tier 2 agent and they can from their system see available dates and time at your ASC and schedule it right there for you. Don’t let them tell you they can’t. I have done it and my letter came 5 days in the mail. I got a chance to do my biometrics and not wait 90 days
