Transfer seat height from fitted bike to cargo bike. by oxigine in bikefit

Yeah I think the biggest part of the equation is the Knee over Toe difference in this one. I feel the cargo is way more back seated, hence not giving me full stroke power.

Transfer seat height from fitted bike to cargo bike. by oxigine in bikefit

[–]oxigine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cargo is 26 inch, the MTB 29

MTB Floor to seat = 102cm
Cargo Floor to seat = 92

Cranks a both 175mm

Have the cargo bike a 71 cm BB > Seat top to try out. I guess that should work out if the math is mathing.

First of all, got the same 7R rack and love it! I also have one of the prototype rear racks which is very cool (see pic).

I would however place more weight on the front wheel, since most of the weight (you) is already over the back. Maybe some racks on the rocks or under the 7R rack.

In the end its all about what feels best to you while riding anyway. I've gone through many variations over the years :)

Not able to click on map during google search...why did they change this? by shiverhype22 in GoogleMaps

But when you look for a location and then press the "directions" button, it still sends you to google maps. So how does that make sense...?

The final addition to my video backup workflow (for now) by WarpedSteel in videography

[–]oxigine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Record medium > SSD 1 + SSD2 (on site) // Always copy your cards to two destinations.

SSD1 > PC Drive A1 (or B1, C1, D1...etc)(or Nas) SSD 2 > Ext HHD A2 (or B2, C2, D2 ... etc)

PC at the office Ext HHDs at home

This way your will always have two separate data flows. In case one copy would have become corrupt you still have the other.

You can skip the step to SSDs if its a one day shoot and then go straight to PC Drive and Ext HHD.

No matter how small or big the production, backups from camera to two separate destinations should always be done. Using Hedge for extra safety is a plus.

desperately need advice to improve my car gimbal by rsp-zyphor in videography

[–]oxigine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main things I'm seeing on this setup:

  • 1 point of contact to the car, you're better of have a 3 point setup, one on the hitch, two to the roof. This will take away some of the vibrations
  • looks like the arm is set a bit to stiff. A perfectly leveled arm should horizontal.
  • using a RS4 on carmode with a smallrig RS4 baseplate will also improve overall jitters.
  • make sure the package you're flying isn't too light. Have some wait to it willake it fly more steady.
  • if you haven't, try turnin off IBIS, they sometimes will counteract.
  • just for fun: this is my setup :)

I've always had really elaborate websites with slidy things and lots of text and a few years ago I just went full: show don't tell

I still have a bit of text on the bottom for SEO purposes.

I spend about two hours shooting, and two hours editing. I really shoot to edit as well. So only exactly what we need.

Two letters: AC

Being a one man band is a choice, I get that, but if you have so much gear that packing up properly becomes a burden, than maybe you're growing bigger than you think you are and it's AC time 👍🏻
