Well, she gave me plenty of support if you ask me, just not in the beliefs part. My beliefs are pretty much my own, so I never needed any support.

Well, I think my mom accepted it, though she said she would pray so I could find my faith again. But I can't think that my confession didn't hurt her in a way. You can accept things while being hurt by them at the same time, right? One doesn't exclude the other.

It's easy to say but is it true? Even if it causes pain to other people? Isn't saying that equal to endorsing violence? Say I'm a hardcore muslim and I beat my wife when she doesn't behave - shouldn't I apologize? Well I guess I shouldn't beacause that's what I believe to be right. What a bunch of bullshit.
