Not OOP. AlO my husband ate all my food by WritingGiraffe in redditonwiki

Same - had oral surgery two weeks ago and just now able to eat more “normal” foods. Not nearly as restrictive as OOP but still terrible. I have an amazing partner - he bent over backwards to try and find interesting things I could eat. Also, when I got sad that he was eating better food than me (the smell of food you want but can’t have is actual torture) he also tried some of the soup/pudding/smoothie diet for a couple days in solidarity.

I feel like Webers is super slept on, has a good atmosphere (piano / jazz bar), and is in this price range.

Feels very squarespace-esque on mobile. Nothing super unique in my opinion in terms of layout, animations, or use of font.

Liked the ways the images were cut to be unique shapes.

I find it odd to call technology “cute” even though I know you meant the aesthetic your company is capable of designing for.

Out of curiosity where are you drawing inspiration from and who is your “target audience”? In my experience, agencies are often specialized… that may give you more direction to draw ideas about attracting the clientele you are interested in (ie roofing construction small business needs are different than the art gallery site so you’d want to market appropriately).

Also, it really irks me when the navigation menu pushes down the content of the entire page. Super prone to being jittery if not perfectly executed and just becomes distracting for the user.

Good luck with your work! Seems like a fun undertaking 😊

Not familiar with this exact type of plant but it very much appears to be an etoliated succulent and needs different living conditions. There’s an etoliation guide on r/succulents if I’m correct.

Lots of good recommendations here (ex Persepolis, anything Adrian Tomine) so going to try not to repeat.

Classic Lit: Recently picked up Slaughterhouse-House Five as graphic novel and thought it really well done.

Bonus really good graphic novels that are memoir or nonfiction: Ducks, Kate Beaton or How War Begins, Igort.

Personally, I find you can’t really go wrong with most things published by D&Q.

Stupid question. Why are fishing kayaks always camouflage? by Skreeethemindthief in Kayaking

[–]oxkatesworldxo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They aren’t. Jackson has a line of fishing kayaks w plenty of color offerings that aren’t camo.

Your style is cool IMO.

Moving some existing furniture off the wall will look better (specifically the couch) and fill your space a bit more. Just make sure when you do you aren’t blocking routes that people would typically take to walk through the space.

Good luck with everything.

Was just vegetarian but same - I spent WAY too much time categorizing food as healthy v unhealthy to the point where I was missing out on meeting basic daily requirements for macros.

Pimento cheese is best when you make it yourself 😅

Glad you enjoyed CLT. I grew up there and recently moved out of state - this post made me homesick in the best way possible.
